I interviewed several agents before I met Derek. Right from the outset I found Derek to be highly knowledgable about the local area (East Victoria Park), genuine and honest and a nice guy to boot (despite his love of the Dockers). He offered some great suggestions for how the house should be presented for photos and home opens, which we took on board and he was proactive in meeting our (fairly tight) deadlines for getting the house to market. He and the office staff at Baston and Co. accomodated my unique position of being overseas for much of the on-market period by communicating with me via alternate means (Whatsapp etc.) which was greatly appreciated. I also found the agents fees to be very reasonable. Overall, I was very happy with my decision to use Derek and his team and will recommend them to anyone needing to sell a house in the area.
