I would like to provide formal feedback regarding my experience with McGrath’s management of my rental properties, as the service has consistently fallen below the standard I expect. Communication has been particularly disappointing. In many instances, I have had to follow up multiple times just to get basic updates or responses that should have been proactively provided. When I call the office, the tone from staff often feels impatient or annoyed, without acknowledgment that the only reason I am calling again is because my previous calls or messages were not returned—sometimes for one to two weeks. Additionally, there seems to be a lack of oversight and attention to detail regarding the landlord requirements. This further contributes to a sense that my properties are not being managed with the level of care and professionalism that I am expecting. I need to see a significant improvement in communication, responsiveness, and overall management. As a landlord, I expect timely updates, proactive handling of issues, and a respectful, professional tone in all interactions.

This agent is very responsive to tenants requests for repairs. As a landlord I appreciate this as it serves to help the tenants feel valued and also ensures that the property is kept in good order. A good working relationship between tenant, landlord and agent is beneficial for all parties and an agent who knows this is invaluable. I am very pleased with the property app that I have been given access to. It provides me, at a glance, with details of rent payments, repair requests, costs and resolution. It also allows me to access all of the documents associated with renting out a property. This will be very handy for taxation purposes. I would recommend McGrath and its property managers to tenants and landlords alike.

I had a great experience handing over my property management to McGrath. Sally explained in detail, all the step by step activities that need to be done to advertise the property, the related costs involved, property compliance as per the legislation etc. The conversations were clear and transparent. Thereafter the leasing process and finally handing it over to the PM was all smooth and seamless, I was updated at every stage. I must say after dealing with couple of othe property management agencies in the past, you can clearly feel the difference with McGrath. I had called them initially as they showed no. 1 in rate my agent and they surely live up to the expectation.

Excellent experience from start to finish - starting with Sally who offered an extremely personal and competitive service and most importantly was open to negotiation, then Krishna who was able to secure tenants quickly and at very competitive rates, and finally Sarah who has taken to looking after the property and managing it as her own. Could not be more impressed by the overall landlord experience with the team at McGrath Geelong so far.
