I am delighted to say that my experience with Belle Property Annandale, and Anastasia Horozakis in particular, has been outstanding. I can even say it exceeded expectations. The level of service they offer is beyond what I thought I could expect of an agent. No question or request was too much. They maintained positive and active relationships with tenants and our property was never without a tenant for more than a week. I'll make this as short as possible. During our condition report at the start of February, we extensively listed a huge list of issues with cleanliness. The worst of these issues was the fact that I had to clean someone else's faecal matter, urine staining and pubic hair from the toilet... Other main issues were oil residue, food stains, and/or mould in almost all the cupboards and draws. The full list is much longer, but this gives you the gist. Our condition report stated that the place had been "professionally cleaned" but the agent is so far unable to provide evidence of this. Which is probably because it clearly wasn't... The agent has also said numerous times that they inspected the property and were satisfied it was OK...This is simply appalling given the ease in which we identified all the issues. In a situation were the tenant has such little power and protection, Belle Annandale have used that to their advantage cause significant stress and frustration through their inability to resolve the issue and provide good management to both the tenant and the owner. We spent lots of money and nearly the entire week cleaning the property, including cutting grass that was half a metre high, removing wasps from internal cupboards and wasp nests from the courtyard area. The initial response from the agent when we detailed the clearly poor condition of the property? "Your standards are high"... It's a damn shame that someone that has a job to manage properties thinks that providing a house in such a lousy condition doesn't have high standards. Don't you think? More recently the air con blew up (loud bang, smoke etc). We reported it and now 4 weeks later have yet to have what is supposed to be an "urgent repair" fixed. A couple of days ago, I learned that the owner has sacked this agent. Can't say I blame them. It would be great if tenants came first and actually got what they're paying for. Hopefully the new agent is a significant step up...
