A fantastic experience and result
I engaged Ken Griffith of Hocking Stuart Richmond as I had become aware he had achieved a great result in selling the property next door to mine. From our first conversation right up until the sold sticker was placed on the sale board Ken has made what can be a stressful period simple and easy. Ken kept me informed all the way and our pre auction meeting with Daniel provided complete transparency and direction for what may occur at the auction. On the day of auction the result was outstanding, above expectation!. I have no hesitation in recommending Ken and the team if selling a property. Respectful and insightful
Ken's lengthy experience in the Richmond market and his friendly and respectful manner persuaded us to select him from among the many agents servicing the area. We had past unpleasant experience with another local agent and wanted to avoid a recurrence. The plan worked. Hocking Stuart have a good reach for exposing our property for sale without the need to resort to expensive and outdated print media advertising. Ken gave good recommendations for presenting the apartment for sale. When the property passed in at auction, Ken and Daniel revelled in the negotiations that secured us a sale within one hour of the auction.

Richmond expert
Richmond has 3 prominent real estate agencies and we considered them all. We chose Ken and his team due to his knowledge of Richmond, he helped connect us to decent tradies before we'd signed up with Hocking Stuart and he was always able to find a positive response to - "your home isn't in the best part of Richmond". We thought our reserve was reasonable, whereas the other 2 agencies worked hard to manage our expectations (and lower the reserve). However Ken and Peter acknowledged it would be a challenge to reach this but in the end they did it, plus got us a bit extra. Thank you!

A great price!
We used Peter and Edward as our agents to sell our 1 bedroom apartment in Richmond. They both worked extremely hard throughout the process and got us a rather remarkable result on the day of auction. Despite our apartment being just one bedroom and not a huge commission for them, Peter and Edward consistently made us feel extremely valued and important. I would highly recommend.
