Lauri Curtain

Licensed Real Estate Agent / Director / Licensee

(308 reviews)

About Lauri

I've lived and worked in Hilton, part of the vibrant southern suburbs of greater Fremantle, for over a decade. It's a place with a rich story that I'm passionate about sharing and promoting. Originally from sunny Queanbeyan, NSW, I've always been drawn to adventure, travelling the world and enjoying an exciting career in a variety of sales and marketing roles. Returning to WA in 1998, I spent 10 years starting a family, then in 2008 I ventured into real estate and found my calling. Since obtaining my Diploma in Property in 2012, I've specialized in residential property management and sales. In 2021 I created C&Co Real Estate - a small, independent agency committed to transparency and community. We aren’t just here to open doors, and simply sign papers - where’s the pride in that? We’re here to find neighbours, not residents; to contribute to the greater Fremantle area; to foster a sense of community, and a sense of pride in that community - it’s as simple as that! We are here to welcome people in, to show them that “moving house”, means moving home, because we believe home is belonging to a place and that place belonging to you. With my name on the door and my face on the sign, I bring a genuine passion for property and people to every interaction. Whether you're buying or selling for the first time or have done it all before, I'm dedicated to making your experience as smooth and rewarding as possible.

Shaun Mayze

Sales Agent

(44 reviews)

About Shaun

Boasting ten years’ experience in real estate marketing, sales, design and photography, Shaun Mayze has contributed greatly to the accolades of many of Perth’s award-winning real estate agencies. In 2001, Shaun’s mother Tracey made the leap from chemist dispensary to real estate sales, and from that time on, Shaun’s life has revolved around the real estate industry in some way. At the time, Shaun may have underestimated the impact his mother’s career change would have on his own, working alongside her at a well-known franchise in Perth’s southern suburbs, before eventually obtaining his sales registration in 2007. After a brief stint working in the local mining industry, Shaun obtained a Diploma in Contract Management whilst dabbling in real estate photography. Shaun then found himself working in marketing for a well-known Fremantle agency, spending many hours fulfilling the team’s property marketing needs and assisting them with the development of sound selling strategies. Ultimately Shaun was drawn back to real estate sales himself, and in 2022 he was welcomed as a Sales Partner at Fremantle’s newest independent agency, C&CO Real Estate. Under the guidance of Director and Licensee Lauri Curtain, Shaun has developed his passion for property, and with a keen eye for data and an appetite for technology, garnered great insight into property market trends. Armed with extensive knowledge gleaned from the many industry stalwarts who have mentored Shaun throughout his decade-long career, Shaun’s clients can expect the most thorough sales approach that they will find anywhere.

Excellent agent from start to finish

Emma was great to deal with, from initial inquiry all the way to settlement. Very friendly and detailed, she has a great understanding of the Hamilton Hill area and worked hard to secure the best price possible. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking to sell in the area.

A quick sale in a tough market

Emma was very professional and organised. Our apartment was sold on the first weekend of being on the market which is the result we wanted.

Friendly agent - just needs to check houses prior to moving in.

Emma was friendly, communicative and polite throughout most of the process of buying our home. We had a few mixups initially regarding the price and cash v subject to sale however that was sorted fairly quickly. I had said no more that a certain price unless it was subject to sale on our house - however the buyers were told I had said higher which resulted in a few awkward messages until resolved back to the initial price. After that, everything went smoothly until move in day. I don't know if the house was checked prior to the keys handed over to us as the oven and toilets were both in a disgusting condition - so much so that the movers commented on the state of both toilets (lined with grime and covered in...). It took days of bleach and scrubbing to get them clean. Similarly with the oven, both oven trays left had black food stuck all over them as well as the oven itself not being cleaned.
