Before you decide on an agent.... read this :)
While selling our property and purchasing another we have come in contact with a lot of really nice agents. The thing is - we wanted more than just nice! We wanted someone who really understood the magnitude, stress and significance of what we were doing. We also needed someone who really understood that how much we received for our house determined how much we could afford to spend on the next one, and even a few extra thousand could make a big difference. In Peter we found an Agent who was much, much more than just 'nice'. From our very first meeting it was clear that Peter had a sensible approach to selling houses. We were very much a part of the process in determining how the campaign should be run - our opinion mattered. A decision was never made without Peter firstly explaining the logic behind it and secondly ensuring that we agreed to it. Nothing ever phased him - even late night phone calls, or when on the day of our first open I was still stuffing bags in our car while people queued outside to view the property! Peter identifies the attributes that will sell your property as well as the deficits that might hinder a sale so that he can then answer any questions and address any concerns from prospective buyers. Peter's thorough research and logical approach to real estate allows him to provide you with an accurate sale price range for your property and he then sets about achieving it. There were regular updates each week during our campaign, he was always accessible by phone, and not once did he start a conversation with those dreaded words.... "The market is telling us your property is only worth x". Always confident he could deliver us a sale in the range he had quoted, despite increasingly difficult market conditions, he did just that.... and we were delighted. Peter is patient, personable, determined and extremely generous with his time. There are many nice agents.... but we doubt there are many Peters!
