We recently sold an apartment in Killara in Sydney. I met Tim via his colleague William Chan; after a few meetings, we decided to work with Chan Yahl - their agency - and Tim led the sales process. The property is Company Title, which can pose a challenge for buyers, but Tim and William helped both us and the buyer navigate this process. We were overseas for much of the campaign but Tim was extremely responsive, providing regular communication, organisation, and close and helpful updates. Tim really made sure we were kept in the loop with each showing, the potential buyers, and the overall progress of the sale - it was great service. The most important thing naturally is the result and we got a good price considering the market conditions and the Company Title of the property. Tim and William were highly professional, very responsive, always available to consult and to manage things for the pre-sale renovation, inspections, and sale itself. As far as real estate experiences go, this was a good experience. Although, the initial price expectation set was far higher than the expectation set just before auction, and the ultimate sale value was at the bottom of the pre-auction expectation set, and > 10% below the expectation set in initial conversations before we signed with them. Having said that, this is the nature of the game and they managed everything excellently through the process, and their advice pre-sale was on point and was the only reason we achieved the sale value we did with relative ease.
