Owning a home in the hills is truly like having your own little piece of nature at your doorstep. So when the time came to sell we had very mixed emotions. Sharyn Chandler from Bell Real Estate came out to our home to do an appraisal. From the moment Sharyn walked in, it was like talking to a long-time friend. Sharyn made us feel completely at ease, explaining the entire sales process and what we could reasonably expect to achieve. Sharyn gave us some selling tips and suggestions, which we gratefully took on board. Before we started the marketing campaign, Sharyn had prospective buyers in mind and arranged inspections prior to us spending money on advertising. After a short marketing period and 3 offers we sold in the higher end of the price range Sharyn originally suggested we would achieve. At the conclusion of every inspection, Sharyn would ring and discuss the potential buyers' feedback - ensuring we were fully informed of what people thought of our home. We initially hired Bell Real Estate to manage our property as a rental. I felt really good about choosing Sharyn from our first meeting. She was friendly, honest and clearly knew the area very well. After a year we decided to sell. With Sharyn's expert help, we got a great offer quite quickly. Unfortunately for us, just before settlement, the house suffered some storm damage. Sharyn's help during this stage was invaluable. As we had already moved away, Sharyn helped us get the repairs catalogued and actioned, acting as liaison between ourselves and the buyers to keep everyone informed of progress. It was a stressful process but Sharyn made it a lot easier on everyone.
