I’d just like to give a little background before I start the review. We live in France and I had come back to Australia to empty and clean our house and then sell it. Ben and Alina from Cobden & Hayson were selected as agents for the sale from a short list of 4 agencies. There was just something right about them. We needed someone we felt safe with as the sale was likely to take place after I had returned to France. Ben and Alina came up trumps, the house sold with little fuss, no worries and for a little over the price Ben Southwell had predicted. Communication was effortless and just when needed. David was great to work with right from our first meeting. He provided an accurate appraisal of our property and gave good insight into the current state of the property market in our area. He was honest about what improvements should be made to the property before any photos or inspections take place, some of the alterations were only subtle but I feel did make a difference in how the property presented. Throughout the campaign, David was in constant contact with us in regards to how he was going with potential buyers and what the general feedback was from the people that had come through the property at open inspections. David sold our investment property whilst we were located interstate. David made the whole process feel seamless and we were very extremely happy with the services provided by David and C&H. From the very start, David was ultra organized and efficient. Our tenant moved out on a Saturday and by Wednesday our house had been painted top to bottom, had the floors re-sanded and polished, a handyman had made repairs, landscaper had been, it had been styled, photographed and was ready to launch on to market! The result of the tidy up, styling and marketing meant our property was absolutely on point and presented in the very best light to potential buyers, the best it had ever looked!
