I chose to sell my house via P.J.D. Real Estate because Joanne Dean provided a credible, data-rich analysis of existing local market conditions and the outcome I might achieve. Joanne’s projected sales price was lower than my initial expectation but proved to be a reasonably accurate reflection of the cautious, tentative market that prevailed in late 2022/early 2023. Further, P.J.D.’s remit was to facilitate the sale of my property whilst I was overseas. They did a fantastic job of arranging all that needed to be done including minor repairs by tradesmen and general property sprucing. Once my house was on the market, they went to considerable effort to ensure it remained in a suitable condition and kept me promptly informed of buyer interest, visitations etc. Joanne, Matt and the team went above and beyond in their work. They provided a fine-grained service that I suspect a larger agency might find hard to replicate.

We were first impressed with Joanne (and her partner) when we asked for a property appraisal 18months before any intention of selling. Her advice was practical and insightful, realistic and respectfully up-front. When it came to sale time those qualities walked back into the door. Throughout the process her friendly but highly professional approach was very obvious and much appreciated. She and her staff were regularly in contact with us and very prompt with any feedback or suggestions. We needed guidance through some negotiation matters that were more complicated than would occur in a typical sale of property, and that was delivered with confidence and clarity, leaving us feeling reassured and safe. Joanne was definitely working for us. Obviously we have moved out of the area, so we can't take Joanne in our back pocket for when we sell again. But we would if we could, and we would certainly recommend her highly and with great confidence to future sellers in her area. Thank you to you Joanne and to your whole team.
