My sister and I met with Kim to discuss the sale of our parents home. The house, purchased in 1963, had been a very happy place for my mum and dad, my 2 sisters and brother, then for 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Kim was very compassionate and understanding of our sadness that the home we had loved most of our lives had to be sold. Kim immediately made us feel comfortable and assured us that she and her very capable team at McGrath would do everything possible to make the sale another happy memory for our family. From that first meeting we were confident in Kim's ability to look after us with great professionalism and compassion. She out laid our options and made suggestions on how to proceed. Soon the team came in with photos being taken, floorplans , and advertising for the auction of our home. Kim was sure we would achieve a good price and gave us guidence when pre-auction offers came in. Right through the sale period Kim kept us up to date with open house numbers, offers and anything else she thought we needed to know. Auction day, was a fantastic experience for the family, we were so happy to see how many people were interested in owning our house. I highly recommend Vera, she was professional at all times with excellent communication skills keeping us in the loop throughout the entire process of selling our investment unit in Meadowbank. Vera sold the unit promptly for a price which we were happy with. The team at First National Gladesville admin were also very helpful in our dealings with them. He has knowledge of the market, he understands the relationship between buyer and seller and how to manage both their expectations, and he always aims for the best outcome for all parties. But what impressed me the most with Richard was his communication. He used Whatsapp super efficiently and kept me and the buyer in the loop at all times. This meant we could get things done much faster and sometimes skip the lawyers which saved both sides time and money.
