I am extremely disappointed with the property management team at Harcourt Exclusive, who manage 6-16 Hargraves Street, Gosford. It has been more than two weeks since I first raised some repair issues, yet they remain unresolved despite multiple email reminders. The agent handling my concerns has been neither friendly nor empathetic, making the experience even more frustrating. As a tenant, I expect at least a basic level of responsiveness and professionalism, but unfortunately, that has not been the case. Having rented with other agencies before, I have never encountered such poor treatment. I sincerely hope they improve their responsiveness and show more empathy towards tenants.

I had a very disappointing experience with Harcourts Exclusive rental agency. From the moment I moved in, it was clear that they were more focused on collecting rent than ensuring the property was in good condition. 1. Unreasonable Rent Demands – I was asked to pay rent just four days after moving in, which felt unfair given the circumstances. 2. Lack of Proper Inspection – The apartment was not properly checked before I moved in. The washing machine was filled with dirty water and unusable. 3. Slow Repairs – It took a full three weeks to get the washing machine fixed, and I was left without it for that entire time. The air conditioner also makes loud noises, yet there has been no urgency in addressing the issue. 4. Poor Communication – The agent is unresponsive when it comes to tenant concerns but is very quick to demand payment. Overall, I would not recommend this agency due to their lack of professionalism, poor maintenance response, and ineffective communication. If you’re considering renting through them, be prepared for delays and frustration.

I have full confidence and trust in Andrew Magro, in all my many dealings with him over many years. Andrew has a superior knowledge of market conditions and an ability to understand the needs of the client and find mutual satisfying solutions for all parties. Also, all his staff, in this case - Alana, are following suit and I found her supremely competent and easy to work with. I cannot recommend highly enough. All future work will remain with this agency.

We moved in a new property and realized it required a lot of work. We are not satisfied with the agent's response. There are still many pending jobs that were approved but no action has yet been taken, and it has almost been two months now. The fumigation that was agreed by the landlord has not been done. There are a few repairs that are still pending. The agent does not follow up properly and does not review previous communications before replying to emails.
