During the time I looked for an apartment to buy, I met many real estate agents. Nearly all were friendly and answered my questions with interest. Some followed up with information about other properties. Kiki and Rhys were also friendly and personable, but they added something extra. Kiki was very positive and enthusiastic about the first property she was responsible for selling. Nevertheless she listened closely to my comments about the type of apartment I’d like to buy which would also be suitable to my needs and she inspired confidence about the possibilities for me in what is a daunting experience. After I missed out on the first apartment I liked, Kiki phoned me about a similar property that would soon be available for sale. Kiki expressed her reasons for her opinion of the value of this second property and later provided me with a list of properties with similar features. She did not pressure me with her point of view when I spoke about the ways in which it was different to me and my reasons for my different opinion. Instead she listened respectfully. She also did not pressure me to go beyond the top offer which I said I was able to make to the Vendors. Kiki phoned me excitedly at 9pm at night to tell me the Vendors had accepted my offer The following day Kiki kept in close touch with the negotiations between solicitors about the exchange of Contracts, and made sure they were exchanged in record time and all aspects of the process were attended to. Rhys complements Kiki’s exuberance and is calm, competent and thorough. He gave me practical help with arranging inspections, seeking information from the Vendors to my additional questions, and drove across the suburbs to deliver the Vendors set of keys to me after settlement. A very exciting moment.
