I can’t speak highly enough of John. John and I first spoke six years ago. He gave me great advice then and I decided that when I did sell, it would be with him. We stayed in touch since and he helped both my mum and i find agents when we had to sell properties outside his area earlier this year. In spring this year I finally engaged John and got him to sell my investment property in West Footscray. John understands the inner-West incredibly well; his ability to speak authoritatively about different comparable properties and respective price points is a huge asset. John organised everything for the house and did it with professionalism and aplomb. I was interstate for the campaign and never needed to turn up once. He organised an interior and exterior facelift for the house and then got it on the market, executed the whole campaign, found genuinely interested buyers and worked out what was a fair and realistic price for the property. At auction, the property went for the exact top of the band. John’s read of the market was brilliant and I know he worked overtime to bring prospective buyers to the property and convinced me to give them the best possible terms to bid under with a flexible settlement time. He even spent time with some of the first-time buyers educating them about auctions so they felt comfortable participating. A seasoned campaigner. If I ever need to sell another property, I’ll be ringing John.
