The property had previously been managed for 9 years by another agent who assumed we would just sell through them. After speaking with them and Charles, we had no hesitation in signing with Jellis Craig. Charles presented a marketing strategy and arranged for a company to give advice on market presentation which we accepted. We are sure this assisted in getting above the expected price. Communication throughout the whole process was friendly and professional from both Charles and his office. We always received a prompt response to a phone call or email. We felt well informed after each inspection and while he negotiated with interested parties. Charles suggested we accept a good offer prior to auction and we benefitted from a short settlement. After settlement, Charles checked that we were satisfied with all aspects of the sale. We would recommend Charles to anyone looking to sell property in this area.

I met Justin when my wife and I were starting to look around for a larger and more modern property in the North Fitzroy and surrounds area. Without being 'pushy' he introduced himself and engaged us in conversation about what we were looking for and then proceeded to be proactive in suggesting properties to view. He was patient with us as we were keen to find the right property rather than one that would be just OK. He even referred us to a property that was to be listed by another agent where he had a relationship with the owner (rental) - the property that we eventually bought. His level of service to us as purchasers was exceptional which placed him as the front runner for our own sale on the basis that our potential buyers would also receive a similar dedicated service (despite the fact that while Jellis Craig were a player in the local market they were not the most dominate agency). We chose Justin to lead our sale and he once again provided great advice, service and a very solid campaign in a softening market resulting in a sale result that matched our expectations. I would use Justin again without any hesitation and firmly recommend his services.

Simon and Danielle make a great team that we would strongly recommend; they ran our project from start to finish in a timely and budgeted manner and delivered a fantastic result - with a smile! We first met Michael 7 years ago when he sold the same property to us at auction. As Michael will confirm, I am not the easiest of clients to deal with, being prone to bouts of negativity during the marketing process. Michael dealt with our concerns in a thoroughly professional manner and everything he predicted about the level of interest and number of bidders on auction day came to pass. As a result, we achieved $27k above our reserve. My wife and I did not witness the auction (we were advise to skulk in the garage!) but neighbours were very impressed with Michael’s role as auctioneer – clearly a master of his craft. Altogether a very satisfactory experience in contrast to our previous exposure to a property auction, as sellers, when we moved down to Fitzroy from Sydney 7 years ago.
