We would thoroughly recommend Simon after our experience. We engaged him because of his knowledge of the local area and his attention to detail, both of which proved very helpful through the sale process. However, what really stood out was Simon's persistence and determination to secure a sale. The environment was very challenging because of the pandemic and for some time there were no buyers willing to commit. However, as we were about to suspend the process following the birth of our baby, Simon kept engaging with interested parties and managed to get two parties to agree to a virtual inspection. Both were interested and then it was when Simon's skills really proved invaluable, as he managed to engage them in an effective auction process that delivered us a very good price. Overall, we were very happy with the process and the result.

Through what is obviously a very challenging time for people on so many levels, Simon was fantastic throughout what proved to be a challenging sale process. He managed our expectations well and was knowledgable, persistant and very considered in ways to continually engage buyers. You don't sell a property every day so the need for clear communication is paramount and Simon really took a lot of the guess work out for us. Selling a property through a pandemic with a toddler was very challenging and Simon was very sensitive to our needs. There's a reason this guy wins all the awards ... I cannot recommend him highly enough.

We took a chance to sell in the COVID market when housing stock was low with the support of Simon's expertise. He said he had buyers wanting to get into the area, and we sold the house from the 1st private inspections conducted. He worked until 9pm that night to negotiate and get contracts signed so that all parties felt confident that the deal was final. Simon Shrimpton proved to be innovative, determined & proactive in the process of marketing our home and obtaining a great price for us, during the first of the COVID 19 lockdowns in Victoria. He supervised the styling of the home and put a great deal of effort into following up individuals who inspected the home. In fact, the initial stylist he brought in had fully set the house up but Simon wasn't happy with the result & had them pick it all up and he brought in a new stylist, at zero additional cost to us, to obtain the look & feel he felt our home deserved. When the expressions of interest process closed at 6pm on the final day, three bidders were very close together. In discussion with us, it was decided to take it to an online auction, using Zoom for two of the bidders (one of whom was overseas and one in Melbourne) and the third party dialed in by phone. We listened to the auction and he did a great job of drawing them all along, finishing with a result that was well above the reserve we had agreed on. We highly recommend Simon and his team as proactive and innovative.

I am incredibly grateful for Michael's hard work and enthusiasm in selling my property. I was so pleased with the efforts he showed in finding the right buyers, liaising with tenants, getting everything in order, maximising all possible avenues, all in a very limited amount of time and working flexibly in the middle of a pandemic. He kept in touch with me regularly and explained everything clearly which was so valuable given I was overseas during the whole process.
