Real Estate is in my blood. As a teenager I worked as a Property Manager for 7 years while completing University studies. With a family history in the real estate industry, it was my first real career calling. At University I achieved a Degree with Honours in Psychology. A Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice and an Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management. My studies lead me to the child safety industry where I became a Regional Manager in Residential Services. The parallels between the residential care and real estate industries exist in the requirements to provide a high quality residential environment while maintaining excellent customer care services. Managing property and peoples needs in a tough residential environment enhanced my skillset. Being a peripheral part of the LJ Hooker family for many years has eventually lured me back to my grass roots, the real estate industry. Kayla is a proud mother of two and has perfected the art of balancing work and family. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her children and creating new memories.
