After starting her property career in reception 21 years ago, Sandra Macklin has worn almost every hat in Real Estate. At 21, she was managing the Property Management division of another office. At 27, she purchased a share of Mackay City Property and later stepped up into the role of Principal Licensee which she holds today. She’s worked in Property Management, Business Development and Sales, sold multiple personal properties, and along the way raise two teenagers. We’re not sure when she sleeps. When she was 17 years old she was given a choice: work in a bank or property. She chose ‘property’ and never looked back. Today, she’s one of Mackay’s most well-regarded senior agents. Her real strength is policies and processes: with Sandra at the helm, projects run smoothly, because she designs them that way. When Sandra’s not helping clients and running the Mackay City Property Management team, you’ll find her outside, swimming, riding and spending time with the family.

Chris Laval took the scenic route to Real Estate. Starting out as a mechanic technician, a shift in gears landed him in the hospitality industry for 20 years and in 2005, Chris moved his young family to Mackay to make his start in Real Estate. It was a past colleague who suggested “he should really be in real estate” and after reading up on what not to do, Chris embarked on a journey that would see him rising to the top of the property market as one of the leading agents in Mackay. Over the last 16 years, Chris as built a reputation for outstanding service, tough negotiation and solid family values. He loves the flexibility of Real Estate, the feeling of building a community, and never stops pushing for a better outcome for his clients. With two kids, Chris’s spare time is usually spent with family, exploring the Queensland wilderness and practicing his photography. He’s a tireless, multi-award-winning Real Estate professional, and the intrepid leader of the Mackay City Property team.
