About Vanessa

Vanessa Allan began her property career in 2010 in Victoria, before relocating to Mackay in 2013 (presumably for the weather). With over a decade of specialist portfolio management experience, she’s one of our most trusted and knowledgeable Portfolio Officers. Vanessa uses her vast knowledge and experience to offer advice and support to our other portfolio officers and after a decade in the game, she hasn’t lost her passion for Real Estate. She loves the challenge of portfolio management, with its diverse clientele and unpredictability. No two days, and no two rentals, are ever quite the same. As a mother of two with a full-time job, Vanessa’s weekends are usually built around family: taking the boat out, loading the kids in the car, and exploring the great outdoors.

About Bridget

With three young girls (including twins), Bridget Lamb has all the qualities you want in a good Portfolio Officer: she’s organised and endlessly patient, she can juggle tasks, and she’s got a knack for mediating disputes. Bridget is a born-and-bred Mackay local, which gives her a real connection to the community. After beginning her Real Estate career as a receptionist, she was quickly promoted to Portfolio Officer, overseeing dozens of tenants and investment properties across Mackay. Bridget’s attention to detail makes her a real asset for our landlords, particularly when it comes to legislative changes. After you’ve wrangled three babies under two, portfolio management feels like a holiday.

Brianna Leary joined our team in March 2025, bringing experience from a smaller property management office within the Mackay region. Known for her methodical and accurate approach, Brianna consistently delivers results while managing challenging situations with ease. She thrives under pressure and is dedicated to achieving outcomes that meet both client and team expectations. Despite being early in her career, Brianna’s professionalism and commitment to client satisfaction are exceptional. She has seamlessly integrated into our team and makes the complex role of property management look effortless. Brianna’s clients can expect attentive, reliable, and highly competent service in line with Mackay City Property’s two year consecutive win as Property Agency for the Mackay Region in 2024 & 2025, since entering the awards with Rate My Agent.

About Chayne

Chayne Kitching first walked into Mackay City Property in 2014 as a work experience student. Today she’s one of our best Portfolio Officers, responsible for a multi-million-dollar investment portfolio. Not a bad career trajectory. Chayne has built her reputation on youthful enthusiasm, a quick smile, and transparent honesty. While others might tell their clients what they want to hear, Chayne always gives her clients the information they need to know. She loves the human side of Real Estate too. The new people, the new challenges, and the responsibility of looking after someone’s biggest asset. On the weekends, you’ll find Chayne fishing and exploring Mackay's natural environment.

Mackay City Properties has been very professional through the securing our new rental.

Bridget Lamb, the property manager who has been helping us out has been very professional and constructive and has shown us properties that would suit our needs best. Bridget is very efficient in keeping the properties in good condition by way of inspections etc. Bridget communicates very well and her market knowledge is second to none. This is the second property that Bridget has helped us out on, and we are very thankful for her market knowlege, professionalism and communication.

Couldn't Have Asked for Better Service

Excellent Property Management and Communication

Bridget from Mackay City Property has been managing our investment property in Bakers Creek and working with her has made the process so easy. This is our first investment property, so a lot of the process has been new and overwhelming, but Bridget has been excellent at walking us through every step. Would absolutely recommend.
