Truthfully, I can’t think of anything more exciting, dynamic or enjoyable than having being part of building and growing one of the most successful property agencies in the Ku-ring-gai area. Before I was inspired to open our own North Shore property office in 2000, I spent eight years immersed in the intricacies of refined hospitality with a well-known international five-star luxury hotel chain. Much of what I learned in the luxury hotel industry has carried over into real estate: ensuring clients feel genuinely valued, creating a welcoming and sophisticated experience, and remembering that people sit at the heart of everything we do. These principles remain central to what makes McConnell Bourn such a strong brand and a place that continues to attract some of the most talented and respected people in the industry. For over thirty years, it has been a privilege to be trusted by vendors, buyers, investors, and tenants to market, negotiate, and manage their property assets. Knowledgeable and committed sales professional.

I met Tom Gu a few years ago when he was selling other units in our building complex. We discussed the option of him representing my wife and I in the sale of our unit. From time to time we saw each other in passing and always discussed our plans to sell. 3 years later, we finally engaged Tom to sell our home. Despite the market being in a particularly difficult state over the last 3 months, Tom successfully managed to find us a committed buyer. We will be settling on the 24th September 2026 and moving on to our new home. Thank you Tom

Sale experience

Matthew and Darragh worked patiently while we waited for our sale of this property. They always kept in touch and were realistic with prospective buyers and their needs. The market is not kind to prospective sellers at present so we had to be realistic as well. They were always polite, informative and kind. I recommend them if you are looking to buy or sell. They were good people to deal with. They were always professional.
