The staff have been proactive in many ways. They met with us, asked what we wanted out of property management etc. It would be good to be quite proactive about marketing i.e. plan the open houses two weeks in advance rather than the day before. As a full time working parent (and as our property was a family home) I would be looking online a week in advance to plan open homes. Our home was often advertised the day before or last minute which may have missed out on potential renters. Also things that needed to be done for the property i.e. removal of objects, keys should be communicated in advance as we felt like we were rushing around even though the property was empty for a month. A checklist would have been good as well as plenty of warning for first time landlords.
