We first spoke to Alex almost two years ago when we first considered selling and moving to Somerset and we’re immediately impressed with his approach and professionalism. At that time we decided the time was not right for us to move but we were convinced that when we were ready Alex would be our agent. In November 2022 an apartment became available in Somerset and we decided to sell our house and move. It was probably not the ideal time of the year to put our house on the market, nevertheless Alex was not phased and he put together a marking plan at very short notice with the first open inspection mid December! Needless to say the plan was very successful and we were able to sell our house and settle on 6th February 2023! I contacted McGraths Realty after reviewing their style of advertising on Realestate.com. I was impressed by the photography, concise property description and the way in which pricing was advertised in an open manner, instead of the usual ‘contact agent’ statement. Despite my property needing further work at that time, I asked for an agent to provide me with honest feedback on whether my expectations were unrealistic. At that time I had engaged with a couple of other agencies and I was less than impressed with their pricing and advertising options. Also, despite the market being fairly buoyant at that time, they valued my property $550k lower than what I knew it was worth.
