I selected Don Asplin as the agent to market and sell my property in Willetton. I am based in Melbourne and made a quick visit to Perth where I met Don and three other local agents. Don was the most well presented and had done his homework before the meeting. He had prepared a comprehensive information pack and had convincing answers backed up with thorough research and relevant materials that he had prepared diligently. As I had a very busy schedule during my short stay in Perth, Don made time to see me after working hours. When I went to his offices he was in discussion with a couple of prospective buyers for another property. I noticed his style of taking a sincere interest in the sale of every property that he was dealing with and was thoroughly impressed. I asked Don to convince me why I should engage him and not another agent. Don proved to me his credentials based on his track record in comparison with other agents in the area. Everything he said was backed up with factual information. He did not make any outlandish claims and there was no pressure from him on me to sign him up. It was then that I decided the I have the right person for the sale of the property. I agreed to engage Don as my agent and trusted him totally to deal with all the aspects of marketing, determining the optimum market price and the sale of the property. Don found a buyer and delivered what I expected in terms of price within a reasonable time frame when market conditions were indicating a downward trend in prices. He also helped in finding me a conveyancing agent and tradesmen to deal with a few matters that needed to be attended to. He is a true dedicated professional who I believe goes well beyond what I expected from an agent. I highly recommend anyone considering selling their property to have a chat with Don before selecting an agent. He is also a great bloke to have a yarn with. This man is a true professional. He was dedicated to the sale of my property from the word "go". His knowedge of the industry and the area is remarkable. He outlined a plan and later gave us a copy in writing and stuck to it. During the "home open" he recieved some serious personal information, but he remained at the home open until it closed and the followed up a purchaser before he took time to attend the personal problem. THAT TO ME IS THE STAMP OF A TRUE PROFESSIONAL
