Matthew and his friends formed the DJB Memorial Cup, a not-for-profit charity which was founded in memory of their dear friend, who suffered from a complex and rare form of cancer. The charity’s goal is to help advance cancer support and research and to date, DJB Memorial Cup has raised many tens of thousands of dollars. Matthew’s passion for real estate stems from Ric Serrao, who has achieved national acclaim for his sales successes, and he delights in working side-by-side with his award-winning dad. Born and bred in the St George region, Anna has worked in Property Management in the Eastern Suburbs for most of her career. Beginning her real estate career as a receptionist, Anna has worked her way to her current role by providing consistently high service and genuine care to her clients. This high level of trust and respect is illustrated by the calls Anna receives from her landlords that sometimes have absolutely nothing to do with their investment properties. About Steven
Born and bred in the Eastern Suburbs, Steven lives in North Bondi. In fact, the proud local has lived there his entire life. After attending local schools in the area, before launching into real estate, Steven started his employment in the tourism and hospitality industry. Steven worked in the travel industry, including a management career with Australia’s most extensive travel consulting firm starting with its store in Double Bay. He also worked with a corporate charter flight business that jetted entrepreneurs, politicians, and FIFO workers around Australia. His travel industry experience extended to working on a luxury vessel during the Rugby World Cup 2011 in New Zealand that hosted some of the biggest names in Australian business and rugby union. Ending his time in the industry in a corporate travel management role. The avid rugby league fan delights in catching up with mates at Kogarah Oval to catch his beloved St George Illawarra Rugby League club play in the National Rugby League. He can also be found jogging and swimming at the local beaches. Why can Steven help you? When the travel industry became all about pie charts and spreadsheets, the sociable Steven realised his advanced interpersonal communication and business skills would translate well to Property Management and the father of three shifted to real estate in late 2015 and joined our firm in 2021. There’s very little Helen doesn’t know about real estate, but our financial whiz first cut her commercial teeth in the food services industry after completing her accounting diploma. Helen worked in a series of family business ventures, including sandwich shops, cafes, fast-food outlets, and had a short stint in accounting before switching to real estate in 1998. She started with an office in Randwick before switching to our team in 2005. Helen loves fishing and cooking away from the office and even caters for events for our team several times a year at her home, where she lives with her husband, 2 sons and her mini labradoodle. The team at Raine and Horne Double Bay and Bondi Beach have provided professional and practical rental services on my behalf for nearly 10 years. Our current agent Leila Gonzalez has continued that same hight standard since assuming responsibility for my property. We have been using RHDB for several years for sales and rentals. We have found the Rental Team, in particular Steven New, to be consistently professional, up to date and has always maintained great customer service and communication.
