We were introduced to Ric through a friend and he came personally recommended by others as a good egg (this being our first time selling, we wanted to select an agent via our personal network). We knew Ric was prevalent around Bondi having seen his name around for years, but it wasn’t until we met him that we began to understand why he has been so successful. Firstly Ric makes you instantly feel at ease, no matter how stressed you might be feeling (and as most people would know, you can feel very stressed selling). He never did the hard sell of his services because he didn’t need to. We liked the thought of a person with such finely tuned people skills presenting our property to potential buyers because we knew that this would also make them feel less pressured, and I believe this instinct paid off in the final negotiating phase. Contrary to what some other agents tried to convince us of, Ric did personally attend all our inspections and conducted all the negotiations himself. Yes he’s busy, but he works around the clock to ensure his clients are satisfied and his local knowledge is mind bending. Ric has been selling houses in North Bondi as one of the top agents for as long as I can remember. In his long career, I suspect he has been inside most of the homes in the area. When he pitched to me to sell my house, it was clear that he understood the market in a way that no other agent did. He was the only agent who had physically visited all the comparable homes to my house that had previously been sold. Importantly, he could tell me what prices these homes had sold for and why one house had sold for more or less than another. Consequently, he was the only agent who had the relevant knowledge and credibility to advise me what my house was worth and the price I should expect. I found Ric to be a very skilled negotiator and communicator and he was enthusiastic, focussed, polite and professional throughout our campaign. If your thinking about engaging Ric to sell your property you will be given an upfront honest opinion and you will not feel forced into selling which i admire greatly.
