We had a long and onerous 5 week auction campaign but Michael was there to update me with any important developments along the way. This could not have been achieved without the hard work, dedication, property knowledge, expertise and great customer service we received. We live interstate so our property had been rented out for a number of years (through Raine & Horne Newtown) and it needed a bit of TLC to ensure our property looked its best for the auction campaign. Duncan's guidance on what we should and shouldn't do to the property was greatly appreciated. Duncan and his team sourced contractors and quotes so we had multiple options to choose from to complete the work . They scheduled everything for us and made sure all of the jobs were done on time and to an excellent standard. Duncan's marketing for the auction was spot on and guided us every step of the way by giving us quick and realistic feedback from each of the open homes. He produced weekly reports showing us everything from how many people attended the open home, how many people requested contracts, their thoughts on the property (positive and negative) right through to our daily and weekly website traffic from the various real estate websites we were featured on. In the week leading up to the auction Duncan made sure all of our questions were answered and gave us guidance and advice on the best strategy for the big day. We were very clear about what to expect and what might happen on the day. As we were not able to attend the action, Duncan arranged for us to view the auction live through the auctioneers website as well as had us on the phone so we could be there every step of the way. Whilst auctions are very stressful, we can't thank Duncan and his team enough for making it all run smoothly for us and giving us an amazing result on the day.

Overall we had a great experience working with Michael and Melissa. A couple of points stood out for us: - The tradesmen work was very well coordinated and managed. We were impressed at the timely manner that this was put together and managed throughout. The quality of the work was also great. - Marketing process could be improved. The photography was good, however the copyright/ content lacks the attention to detail and personal touch we were hoping for. The original proof read very much like a copy and paste job, with some inaccurate details about the apartment. We ended up having to rewrite a few paragraphs ourselves and overall the attention to detail was lacking. - Overall communication was great throughout the campaign. We appreciated the weekly updates from Michael - We got recommended Ann Kinghan as our solicitor; she was efficient at her work, however we also found her professional level lower than expected, e.g. she forgot to update us that the settlement date was moved. - Love the nice touch with the mailed printouts of the brochures after the campaign finished. One suggestion to take this to the next step is to provide a written (email/ printout) report of the process (total visits/ total contracts issued etc) at the end of the campaign.
