We set Jamie a hard task with our property initially asking $1.2m which was some $330k over the previous record sale in our area. The property was very unique and we didn’t particularly need or want to sell the house but the quick rise in our market made it a viable option hence the appearance of a massive overprice. We knew that someone would love the place and be willing to pay top $ for it and eventually that’s what happened. Getting that buyer over the line with finance was the hard part with the banks on notice from the Royal Commision at the time. Jamie helped the buyer through a lot of hoops put in place by the banks and we eventually settled breaking the area record by an impressive $245,000. Mind you the house was worth every penny and Alison (the new owner) will enjoy her morning coffee from the deck whilst watching the whales breaching in the bay.
