Angus was warm, friendly and knowledgable on the area we were selling in (Randwick). His flexible approach was welcomed - i.e. he was happy to go the "whole hog" of an auction campaign if we could not obtain a price we were comfortable with via off market processes, rather than pushing us to get the deal done ASAP. This was a welcome change from my previous experiences. We first met Angus around five years ago at an open house when we were looking to expand from our apartment into a house. While we didn’t buy that property, he regularly kept in touch to ask how we were going and if what we were looking for had changed. Aware we were not getting far in the open market, he went out of his way to introduce us to a buyer’s agent who eventually got us into our current home - a deal that had nothing at all to do with Angus. So when the time came to now sell the apartment we had been living in, because of the relationship Angus had built with us and the clarity of communication we had with him meant he was the only way to go. We did meet with other agents - however their outlook went only as far as the auctioneer’s hammer. We knew that if this is the way he treats us, he’ll treat prospective buyers with the same level of care - as a result Angus secured a remarkable sales outcome for us in a rapidly fluctuating market. Angus is in this for the long game, which sets him apart from the rest. The clients he helped get into their first apartments back when we met him, he now helps get into their first houses.
