Brad was fantastic!! We'd never sold a house before so had no idea what we were doing or what to expect. After our first meeting with Brad we knew he was our guy! He was personable but professional and had a lot of knowledge about the area but at no point came across like a "salesman". His valuation of our property was spot on and our house sold quickly. I cannot recommend Brad highly enough if you are looking for an honest, hardworking agent to sell your home.

After searching for almost 6 months; I purchased a house at auction through Brad O'Mara. Brad was very honest, straight down the line, genuinely friendly as opposed to schmoozy like some agents & kept in touch with me over the weeks leading up to auction as well as after I'd secured the property. His advice proved to be sound & accurate & I felt comfortable in being open with him without feeling like I would be put at a disadvantage for doing so. As well as almost every other Queanbeyan based real estate agency; I was dealing with Brad regarding a few different properties over the 6 month period & again, I found him to be open & he provided sound advice based on the brief I'd given him about what I was after & my budget. I have already recommended Brad to other people looking for a reputable agent & when I am ready to rent my property out; I'll be going through Brad to manage it as I wouldn't really trust anyone else based on my dealings with most agencies as a buyer. I know that as a future seller or landlord that I'm basing my choice of agent on my dealings with them as a buyer & I only want an agent like Brad who returned my calls, answered my queries, gave me sound advice, took time to build a rapport & gained my trust. I gave every other agent the opportunity to do the same thing but Brad was the only one who actually followed through on our. During the course of quite a challenging period of negotiations with the vendors, Brad always displayed a high level of professionalism but at the same time was happy to call a spade a spade! Numerous occasions nearly saw the sale stall and fall through, however, Brad kept the avenue for sale open and in the end both vendor and purchaser were happy with the outcome – I think! Brads knowledge of the local area real estate market is impressive and as stated, whilst discussions were robust at times, Brad always portrayed an ability to help and be neutral to both the vendor and purchaser. I think Brad was certainly the reason we were able to purchase the house that we really wanted.

The merry-go-round of looking for properties that would meet our needs was exhausting. We were at the point of looking at ANYTHING to try and find SOMETHING. A week before we had to move out of our sold home, we found this slice of heaven in Conder. 5 Purves Place had views to die for, the quality that we demanded, the floor-plan we wanted, the commute to work would not be too bad and we could probably afford it! Despite being unable to bid at auction, on auction day, Brad O'Mara helped us achieve the dream of owning this home. Seriously people, we would not have this house if it was not for Brad's personal care and attention! If you want an agent that is 'real', not at all pretentious, completely knowledgeable, will work in your best interests and not a snake oil salesman, then Brad O'Mara is your man. We engaged Brad O'Mara to sell our property via an online auction. Brad had never used this facility before but did all of the necessary research with HO and developed a sales plan accordingly. Albeit we sold before auction Jo and I could not have been happier with the outcome of our sale. It is purely conjecture as to wether we would have realised more at auction - once Jo and I had reached our target price we were more than happy to complete the sale.
