Before selling my house, I did the usual thing of getting a few real estate agents round to value my house. Estimates varied widely though marketing costs were generally high and didn't offer much for it. Remax was the last lot I contacted after reading Wes' great reviews on here. I was pleasantly surprised by Wes' professionalism plus friendly and down to earth demeanor and was particularly wowed by his marketing package which beat his competitors hands down. He gave me a photo sign board, photography, a video, a highlight package on realestate.com.au and a consult with an interior designer all for FREE! Unlike the other agents who mostly wanted to rush the house onto the market, Wes advised against this and instead got the designer round to get some ideas. The interior designer was really nice and pointed out lots of little things that we could do for cheap that would improve the attractiveness of our home. It was only after we'd done these things that Wes came round and did all the photography (taken over 2 separate visits to get the best possible lighting) and made the video. It was then that we went on the market. Wes's initial estimate for the value of my home matched what I thought it was worth and I really appreciated his marketing nous which taught me a lot about how to sell a house in Queensland. He had 3 groups through on the first day of being on realestate.com.au and then another group the 2nd day which I'm happy to say bought my property for substantially over the asking price! I've not sold a house here before and really appreciated Wes' putting up with my constant questions (even on his day off) and worries whilst waiting for the sale to go through. I thoroughly recommend Wes, he's an excellent salesman, a great marketer and a nice guy.

The choice to go with Remax was easy. They provided expert advice that I found invaluable even before any photo was taken. Every step of the journey was handled professionally and I was always updated about the progress. I was confident when the house was ready for sale that everything was done to ensure the best possibly outcome.
