Simeon Partners recently successfully completed the off-market sale of our waterfront home on Middle Harbour and they achieved a price worthy of our highest expectations. We had intended to go to market in Spring and opened discussions with several agents. Richard impressed us with his extensive knowledge and successful track-record on waterfronts and high-end property in the immediate area. Richard very quickly identified a party which they had been dealing with over an extensive time as being a potential match for our property. Our property ticked the boxes on many aspects and Richard approached us to see if they could introduce this party with the intention of dealing off market. Whilst this was not our plan, Richard convinced us that the potential purchaser was a qualified buyer, was capable of performance and in our agreed price range for our property. It is unusual to see a real estate agent actually work this way, many simply want to run a campaign, get you to pay for the advertising, get the best buyer out of that campaign and do a deal. Richard showed true agency acumen where he knew the buyer from previous campaigns, had kept in contact, had the confidence of the buyer and had the market experience and evidence to guide the buyer to meet our expectations.
