Todd was fantastic from start to finish. He always kept me up to date. His negotiation skills were great and he got us the best price. He was happy to do separate inspections for prospective purchasers that couldn't go to the normal opens. We first engaged Todd a couple of years ago when we were looking to purchase an investment property. At the time we found him to be personable, knowledgeable, and professional and always made himself available, he provided a lot of advice in the lead up to us buying a unit in Queenscliff. When the time came to sell the property, it was a no brainer to get Todd in to discuss the sale. It was no surprise that Todd came with the same level of open and honest communication and attention to detail he had in the past. Todd provided a detailed strategy on how he would get the property sold, including taking in into account changing conditions to ensure we would maximise our chance of getting the best possible price. Maria and her exemplary team of Lauren, Kristie and Seaforth Stone Real Estate knocked our house sale out of the park. How so you ask? Honesty. Integrity. Empathy. Not afraid to speak openly, frankly and suggest options. Cliché? Perhaps. But it works if you have an agent who emotionally buys-in to genuinely wanting the best for you. And in this day in age of left over spivs, charlatans, excremental advisors “yeah we’ll get you more than the market” only to run away when the going gets a little tricky, I ask who do you want in your corner? We had spoken and worked through the campaign, high lighted areas to focus on, battleplans to pivot as needed, and so forth. Designs, rendering schematics, photos and digital walk throughs all were available and used as required. Maria has a huge wealth of experience in DELIVERING THE GOODS. She is a closer and can work best angles and put people at ease without “pushing / bullying” people – both of us as sellers and the buying group at large. So I give her and her marvelous team huge cudos for helping guide us in our sale as well as offering advice on our purchase too. Oh yes she’s damn good in this area folks! Right from the start, Chris respected my decision to sell off-market. He tailored the campaign to my unique situation rather than imposing a formulaic procedure. Other agents I had approached uniformly remarked: “Of course you’ll go to auction!”, without presenting any alternative. He made it clear I was in control & worked accordingly, with expertise & refreshing good cheer. He was able to tell me things I didn’t want to hear but needed to hear, without intimidation or pressure. He clearly articulated his strategy, & remained focused & enthusiastic throughout the campaign. He made full use of Stone’s database, inviting only qualified buyers to view the property in a discreet & non-invasive manner. Chris was transparent in his dealings, & I was kept fully informed at all times with texts, emails, phone calls & a weekly written report. His support staff were equally communicative. The whole process was stress-free & enjoyable, which is rare from what I hear. He even managed to deliver an exciting burst across the finishing line!
