This was a challenging campaign. We entered the market off the back of a very buoyant 3-4 weeks of house sales in Sydney. Maria and her team did a terrific job getting the campaign up and running in a short period of time and the marketing collateral and photos were superb. The first open house was a thorough success with plenty of interest generated - then came the lockdown and ban on open houses. Without doubt the pandemic saw the rise of the opportunists and Maria did a good job of sorting out the realistic and motivated buyers who were genuinely looking for a place to call home. I've always felt anyone can sell a house in Sydney when the market is hot and, to date, there hasn't been a book written on selling a house in a global pandemic (or not that I know of anyway) and this was always going to be a real test for Maria and her team - and for the real estate industry in general. This was never going to be a "present the house and let the games begin" type of campaign. The market went from "hot" to "not". This is when you need an agent with a level head - for the vendor and the buyer. Maria was this agent.
