The previous months had been exhausting - and then the time came to sell our mothers house! We interviewed a number of agents - ads on domain, ads on Real estate.com - all around the same price. Same, same Then in came Ahmad! Stylishly dressed, big friendly smile. At first it looked like more of the same - but then his stories started, his humour, his socials, his followers! He obviously absolutely loved what he was doing and he was having a lot of fun doing it! We knew that to sell this house, at this time, in this area, was going to take a lot more effort than Domain & RC and the group auctions in an office! - Ahmaad is young - and he is the future! More than that though - he is doing it now!! I was dreading the whole period dealing with agents etc - but this was seriously fun! Regular updates every couple of days on numbers through and learnings - always upbeat. Auction day arrived, and OF COURSE! we would have a Barista! :) what a fun experience for everyone - great coffee too! 6 bidders, the neighbours (in fact the whole street!) and reticent buyers/spectators - all loving the spectacle! The result was great for us, and great for the wonderful buyers who were so so happy with their purchase.
