Very helpful over time, actually listened and remembered
We've been looking to downsize for several years but could not find what we wanted. We ran into Fiona a year or so ago at a viewing, she was interested in what we were looking for, and actually remembered over a period of time. Occasionally we would hear from her about something she thought we might like to see, so she was helpful but not pushy. There were a couple of good local agents helping us this way, but most were more interested in selling our current house rather than helping us find the new one first. Fiona started to move to the front earlier this year with some good advice about key things to ready our current house for sale when the time came, and put us on to a good handyman, excellent painters, and even roof repairers when we had an unexpected problem. When we eventually found the place we wanted to buy in another area, she gave us good advice on how to handle the offer and negotiations, and if necessary the auction process, even though there was nothing in it for her. Very helpful, but not "in your face" like some. So of course we turned to her when the time came to sell our place, and that worked out very well - in an early off-market program we negotiated and accepted an offer for an amount and timeline we're quite happy with, and avoided all the hassles and expense of a formal marketing program, as well as some potential problems in an open marketing campaign. Thank you Fiona, we're very happy with the outcome, and we've enjoyed your company along the way.
