We recently moved our two properties over to the Walmsley group after nearly 10 years with a different agency. What struck us right off the bat was how careful and attentive to detail Tiana was. We were seriously considering selling after years of struggling with our inattentive previous property manager. Years upon years of not doing maintenance that we requested, not letting us know when things needed doing and so on. We were very discouraged by the time we changed agents. However, Tiana was so encouraging and helped us through the whole arduous process of working out what exactly needed doing and the best way forward! She never seems too busy which is a key difference between this experience and our previous. Tiana has a different approach to most agents that we have talked to. She really understands the needs of tenants but also that as landlords, this is our investment. She was able to help us with renos that were surprisingly cheap but added value to our property. The end result was a much better rental return. Something else we particularly appreciated are the incredibly detailed entry reports and that we know about any maintenance requests almost instantly (it's easier for tenants to list them too). People say this stuff all the time but honestly, we wish we had made the change earlier. It would have saved a heap of heartache! We could not be happier. We also feel like it is a much better experience for our tenants as well. It's much easier for them to let us know when things need to be done and because Tiana is so thorough, we only have inspections twice a year (and so don't intrude on their privacy). We would recommend the Walmsley group.

She has pre-empted issues before they have become a bigger problem, always maintains and open and frequent line of communication to let me know what is happening, and genuinely cares about my investment and ALSO the tenants. Tiana has shown great knowledge of the local market and has been a guide for we beginning investors. She has acted quickly on maintenance requests for tenants and sought to act on our behalf in order to improve our rental return. She has acted professionally and her rental inspection reports are very thorough and complete. We have appreciated her advice on a number of issues. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that we need clear and concise communication before repairs/services or maintenance are to be performed. A quick email to let us know that the electrician or plumber (or whoever) is going to be at the unit to repair something is great and has happened sometimes, but at other times these expenses have come as quite a surprise.
