My wife and I have bought & sold a lot of properties in the inner West & this was by far the best experience I've had. I met Joseph at an open for inspection at another property. He took the time to allow me to view the property and made contact soon after - that property wasnt what I was seeking. The property I purchased had that "whoa" factor I was seeking. Dealing with Joseph was easy. He remembered me from previous property and kept in contact when he said he would. On Auction day it was a smooth process in fact so smooth that in a blink of an eye, I became a home owner of that "whoa factor" property.

Joseph did not provide the cheapest or the most detailed proposal compared to competitors, however he was persistent and knowledgeable about the area (Yarraville) and our house. He was negotiable on commission, but I never asked for him to be the cheapest. I was only interested in the most professional agent who gave me the facts and told it "how it is". He followed up and delivered when others fell away. Once he was appointed, our house required some minor renovations and tidy up for sale. We are interestate vendors, and he met us on site and made a number of recommendations which were pertinent. He also made recommendations for handymen and did check from time to time on progress. He explained in detail about the market and he or his staff rang after every open home and provided valuable feedback. He was not pushy just to get the deal done, but gave us all the facts which we appreciated before we agreed on selling.

TJ and I had our house on the market with a different local Agent for over 90 days and could not sell, the best offer we had was $1.01M. We began to question some of the advice the Agent was giving us. After discussion we decided to speak with Huss whom we'd met years earlier. I was immediately impressed again that the Village 'story' was exactly the same now as it was years ago, which indicated integrity and self understanding. The experience with Huss and the team was exemplary. Great advice, provided all the contacts for styling, provided a sound and intelligent marketing and sales plan. Everything Huss said he would do, he did. The database of people he said Village had whom were keen to buy in the area, he had! Within 10 days we had an offer at $1.03M, 48 hours after there were 3 interested buyers and the offer had exceeded $1.08M. We finalised on an offer over $1.1M. What is as impressive has been the post sale service, we feel as important now the contract is unconditional as we did before the sale. I rarely write testimonies, but for Huss and the team at Village, I was only too willing to offer to write one.
