I recently sold my property through Woodards Carnegie with Clare Adams as my agent. Clare went above and beyond the call of duty on all counts. I called upon her to help me manage a problem tenant and their exit, although this was outside the realm of her usual duties she jumped straight in and turned a difficult situation right around! She managed the clean up, and the staging beautifully. Clare is compassionate, honest, extremely determined and diligent and on top of all that a pleasure to work with. She makes what is a very stressful time into an enjoyable journey. I have already recommended Clare to friends, family and know that I have found someone that I trust wholeheartedly. Cedric and Maria Newbond were the Woodards agents at several interesting properties, and for two villas where I proceeded to a written purchase offer. At open-for-inspection times they were always welcoming, pleasant, not pushy. They understood I would keep looking rather than make many compromises. They promptly found out replies to questions and arranged access for builder's pre-sale inspections. I appreciated the convenience and personal service provided by Cedric bringing formal papers to me, even though I was close to his office. It is with absolute pleasure that I can rate the performance of Clare Adams from Woodards Carnegie on not only the excellent result on the sale of my mothers house in East Malvern, but also as a prospective buyer in the Murrumbeena/Carnegie area. I first met Clare whilst in the phase of the regular grind of home inspections. Clare was always very welcoming, full of information and never afraid that if unclear would get back to you. I also found that during this process and with the current housing market, that Woodards was also hard to buy off in regards to - they looked after the vendor and got the best sale price available. Sometimes frustrating for the buyer but great for the vendor. In saying this I did end up purchasing a home through Woodards. With this reason and also Clare's nature it was great to be able to recommend Clare to sell my mothers house. This would be no easy assignment given it had been the family home of 45+ years, my father recently passing and 8 kids to potentially deal with. However Clare was very professional in her approach whilst also being very caring for the situation. Clare and Woodards achieved a terrific result for my Mum and family and we even managed to avoid the stress of Auction day by obtaining a great offer prior to Auction.
