We had Clare come through our unit to give us an appraisal and help us determine whether to undergo a significant renovation, (wall removal + new kitchen). After her advice we decided to commit to the Reno. A few months later once the unit was ready to sell, we had her come through. She gave us a few pointers , told us to do new carpets upstairs, and how to stage it. The first home open with yard had more than 30 couples come to the viewing ! Being a strata unit, with close proximity to state housing , not every one was interested in putting an offer, but the competition and good advertising helped us add more than $100,000 of value to the pre-Reno variation. Clare then helped us navigate through a tough situation with the buyers not getting final approval for finance due to rising interest rates. It all worked out in the end. Clare was extremely helpful in helping us sell our home. She offered insight into the market, the area, the expected price ceiling for our unit, and how to add maximum value to our home without over capitalising. She even helped us Align settlement dates so the sale of our unit was one week apart from the settlement date of our new home.
