In January 2013, after some deliberation, we made the difficult decision to put our house on the market in order to relocate closer to work. We had designed and built our house before living in it for some years and as such felt strong ties to our home. We invited several local Real Estate Agents to meet with us and appraise our house. What was important to us was appointing someone who appreciated our house, someone who was passionate about selling it and someone who went the extra mile in order to achieve the best for us. As soon as we met Nick van Vliet, we knew that he met all of these requirements. In addition, with lots of innovative ideas and a strong, proactive marketing approach, Nick stood out from the rest. Being a little unsure that we were doing the right thing, Nick could not have handled our feelings and the process in a more sensitive and patient, non-pressured manner. Once we had come to terms with our decision Nick and his team thoroughly explained what can appear to be a daunting and complicated process and made the whole thing easy to understand and swiftly set things in motion. Right from the start we were included in the entire process, kept fully updated and had complete input into all aspects of the process and marketing. As such we felt fully in control of the sale and that the marketing and sale of our house was a team effort. Nick has a very strong database of ‘ready to move’ buyers and proactively maintains regular contact with them. Because of this we had a couple of private viewing on our home before ANY marketing had begun, resulting in two early offers from which Nick negotiated well in excess of our top ideal asking price range. From our experience we cannot recommend Nick and his team highly enough! Their professionalism, enthusiasm, attitude and knowledge is unsurpassed. We can categorically and without doubt state that we totally made the best choice we could have in appointing Nick van Vliet to represent the sale of our home.
