We appointed Ray to sell our property, a 3 bedroom apartment in St Leonards which had been our home for 13 years. He was excellent in all phases of the sale. Prior to appointing him, Ray had sold many other apartments in the building and so was able to demonstrate his understanding of the building, its surrounds, its key selling features and had a deep pool of buyers he could draw from that have missed out on the other apartments he has sold. He spoke to us several times before he even knew we wanted to sell, to understand us and to build a relationship of trust. After appointing Ray, he was very clear about the marketing strategy he wanted to follow and the reasons for it. We had some particular reasons why we wanted to go down a different approach, and he was very respectful and was happy to support the approach we preferred and had examples of where he had used that approach previously. His explanation of the process, how he would answer questions, and how he would elicit demand from buyers was very clear and well thought through (much better than other agents that take a "trust us it will be fine" approach). Once the property went on the market, Ray took all of the hassle away from us. He organised and co-ordinated the styling, the marketing and we sold at the top end of our expectations and faster than we thought was possible. During the sale process, Ray treats the property as though it is his own - it really feels like he is trying to get the best outcome for the vendor. He worked after hours right till the end of the sale process. Most agents would have not put in that additional effort. If you are thinking about your next sale, do not hesitate to appoint Ray. He really delivered for us and went above and beyond our expectations.

Ray is a good man who works on relationships - perhaps five years with this seller, always ready to update one with the latest info, unassuming. And when the time came, Ray sold the property in 5 days - without a single open home (he really did have a list of prospective buyers).
