You Only Need One Buyer But It Takes a Professional Team to Find the Right One.
A few days before to our appointment with Shad, his colleague, Julian, arrived at our door with a gift that consisted of a small audio visual presentation on Shad's marketing philosophy. This prepared us for our meeting with Shad and allowed us to clarify the issues which we would want to present to Shad during our meeting.
Shad arrived on time and immediately presented himself as someone who was not going to push us into a decision that was not right for us. He was realistic in his appraisal of our home and he offered various marketing alternatives to choose from.
After this initial meeting we met again with Shad in his office where we met the other member of his team, Terri. During this meeting Shad spent considerable time outlining the steps of the marketing campaign which we had chosen, the costs involved and with Terri's assistance, a timeline of activities which would occur prior to going on the market; during the marketing campaign and post-sale.
We opted for a full marketing package that included having professional photos of our home taken; a video of our home; a professionally trained host for the video presentation; a professional writer to present a description of our home; and a draftsman to create a plan of the house and garden. Terri supervised the marketing team on the day that they came to our home so it went smoothly with little disruption to our routine.
At the open inspections Julian and Shad were there to ensure that the many prospective buyers were fully appraised of the property. Although we had opted for auction, within a few days of being on the market better than expected offers were being made with the final offer far exceeding our expectations so we sold prior to auction.
