I had booked in a couple of house inspections with Shane and had advised him I was only in Perth for two days, so really had a tight timeline. Not only did Shane show me through the houses i had requested, he also took me through a couple of other houses on the market that he thought might fit my criteria. It was one of these other houses that I instantly liked; Shane was good enough to meet me late the next day to let me have another look through. The next day Shane let me know of a price reduction on the house - I put an offer in, which was accepted. The whole buying process was smooth and hassle free, which was great for me as a new home buyer who really knew pretty much nothing. During the purchase stage I dealt with Michael from 'team Penny' who was fantastic with answering all my questions and keeping me up to date from start to finish. My only negative with the agent would be that I didnt get to put either an 'under offer' or even a "sold" sticker up on the for sale sign and when I picked up the keys to the house at settlement, the keys were literally handed to me in an envelope with no congrats or anything to mark the occasion.... this is only a little thing, but it did detract a little bit from the excitement of the sale. Overall, Shane had a great knowledge of the area, was easy to deal with and I am grateful that he led me to the house that I purchased!
