A few months ago my 85yo mother was admitted to a nursing home & I was charged by VCAT with selling her unit & disposing of her assets. This was a stressful, traumatic experience at times. A colleague gave me names@Barry Plant, Philip Webb, Ray White & Hudson Bond. I set aside a whole day to conduct the interviews. Mark DiGiulio was the last cab off the rank. I was suffering from info overload & the task to select the most appropriate agent was becoming increasingly difficult. Prior to meeting Mark sent me his extremely impressive CV. He arrived exactly on time & was a standout. I was totally relaxed by his style. Mark was passionate, honest & demonstrated a strong desire to achieve the best possible outcome. His valuation was the first to arrive a few hours after he left the premises. In the end the decision was easy – Mark. He was an avid listener & his performance could not be faulted. He gave us comprehensive weekly updates & reports after each inspection. Everything he said he was going to do he did. Communication was excellent. At the preauction meeting he provided a comprehensive overview of the process & guided us in the right direction. We had every confidence in his ability & relied on his sound judgement & advice. The auction was a resounding success. The result exceeded our wildest expectations, $105K above reserve price! I have attended countless auctions over the yrs & I can truly say this was the best auction I ever attended. The complimentary tea&coffee, BP Teddy Bears, explanation provided of a non referral auction, clear recording of bids incl. when reserve price was reached (black to red) & the purchasers little girl being provided with the honour of declaring the house sold, flowers were all brilliant. I was a passive observer in the crowd. I witnessed people thoroughly enjoying themselves. On behalf of my mother Robin I sincerely thank Mark & the BP team for their outstanding service & commitment. I only wish I had more properties to sell.
Mark Di Giulio
