Prior to engaging Jason & George at Barry Plant Sunshine we did our research on the various Agents in the area. We studied the clearance rates, the sales prices, the marketing strategies & the auctioneer’s style. Thankfully the decision was easy. We checked out the rest but we went with the best. Barry Plant all the way. Right from the get-go we knew these guys were the real deal & true pros. We were not disappointed. Jason & George were able to get us a RECORD sale price for our West Sunshine property . . . . $95,000 above our reserve price. Wow!! Naturally we were extremely happy & have no hesitation in highly recommending these two gentlemen to all prospective sellers. George, a very pleasant young man with a phenomenal work rate & professional attitude that’s second to none. At all times he kept us informed with updates as to where we were at. Advising us on which photos were best to use & why, helpful tips on how best to present our property, always polite, always courteous. He ran the OFI’s capably & smoothly. This is the ‘behind the scenes’ hard yakka that few see & even less appreciate but it’s this work that makes the difference in results. Jason, a real pro. I checked out other auctioneers to gauge their style & I can honestly say there is no comparison. It’s like comparing the AFL to the Little League. Don’t take my word for it, go see one of his Auctions & make up your own mind. Our Auction was handled superbly. It was a delight to watch. Hugely entertaining. Even up until the very last moments he was still trying to coax those extra few dollars from the bidders & yes, he was able to get them. At the end, the huge 50+ crowd simply clapped & cheered & rightly so as they were treated to a great auction performance by an Auctioneer at the peak of his game. His market knowledge, as well as his solid loyal clientele base and ability to build rapport quickly and professionally with buyers produces outstanding results when selling. Jason always communicated with us throughout the whole campaign, openly and honestly and always had our goal in my mind. He's a fantastic auctioneer and it's no wonder he was in the top 5 for the REIV Auctioneers. When choosing an agent, I wouldn't recommend comparing the commission % or the market appraisal an agent gives you but the skills and knowledge an agent has and that's why I go straight to Jason every time.
