Have not rented for many years, homeowner moving for a career promotion. mostly very helpful but a little slow to respond for issues, eg tv antenna, reasonable time frame for issues with lights ,locks etc. 1 week to respond after flagging the issue on the Monday not dealt with til the Friday and as we know nothing happens on a Friday. Long waiting times for reception, phone answering , if phone busy, unable to get through in 25 minutes! Receptionist possibly new but not particularly friendly tone possibly needs some more training on customer service! On arrival with furniture truck unable to access front door causing angst and extra costs to me to cover delay to access unit. Inability for reception to take calls very frustrating at time.I realise its Covid 19 and staff either working from home or limited and I'm not the only person in the world but my experience would have been enhanced if I had been able to communicate more promptly with a staff member that could have helped me . Saying that Susan from for maintenance was very helpful and polite when at last I spoke to her .

Josh got a new job interstate- so we needed to rent out our Newcastle East apartment. We are first home owners, and had never leased a property before. To add to the stress of an interstate move- I had a 6 week old baby and the COVID19 situation escalated. I met with three real estates before selecting Robinson - based on the interpersonal experience I would recommend them - Julie was helpful and understanding with us and had genuine interest in finding a suitable renter for our home. Based on products on offer I would also recommend Robinson- they have a self-managed rate which we were originally planning to use with some family help to manage the property inspections (we went with the standard rate instead as a result of the pandemic). I’m now 2 months into the experience and I am really pleased with our arrangement- Robinson are responsive to any email or call, and I feel they care about us as owners and the renters. Given that I have worked with them in a time of significant flux and uncertainty in March 2020 when everything was changing rapidly - I feel the 5 stars has been hard earned!!
