We contacted John Bradley at Place Aspley after receiving a flyer in our letterbox outlining a recent sale John had made in our area. We were coming to the end of a 3 month exclusive agreement with another agent and decided to interview John. From the first phone call, the listing presentation, signing of the exclusive agreement, listing our home, open houses and negotiations through to an unconditional contract on our home, there is not one negative comment we can make about John. Our home was difficult to sell due to it not having a swimming pool in an area that attracts families primarily wanting swimming pools. Our home is a quality home that has been well maintained so therefore we were hoping for a premium price. We had a price in mind, however John was the only Agent honest enough to help us understand a price we should advertise to generate interest and groups to attend the open houses. We didn't achieve the original price we were expecting, but in the current market conditions John was able to achieve a pleasing result. We would highly recommend John Bradley to other Venders, particularly in the McDowall, Bridgeman Downs areas due to his extensive knowledge of the area. John always kept us in the loop even though he was extremely busy and we never felt that he didn't have time for our many questions. Tristan and his team came highly recommended and unfortunately we ended up being disappointed with the lack of 'human' touch when it came to dealing with our home sale - We felt like our sale was small in comparison with others that Tristan had sold - after all, he had so many suburb records how could ours compete - whilst there are times that communicating by text message is warranted, we felt that at the most important steps (offer, going unconditional and the actual settlement) would warrant an actual phone call - we got the message loud and clear that you are a very busy agency but the personal touch was missing when it came to the little guys like us. On a side note - Chris was great to deal with - at the end of the day - our house sold, and it was within the time frame we needed which we appreciated.

Tristran demonstrated detailed knowledge of the market status for the region. He outlined clearly the most appropriate marketing strategy for the property .. low set 2/3 bedroom house which would have appeal to a broad market but possibly more so to investors. Feedback came quickly after each open house via telephone contact. Tristran talks very quickly at times a little too fast so one has to really contract to capture all he is saying. The marketing strategy implemented did bring forward a range of potential buyers.
