December 2022 we had a smooth sign up with Buxton. Choosing a tenant went well. We felt settled and that out property was in good hands. Its April 2023 we have had 4 new property managers, (various reasons for them leaving) and each transition has been hard as we have to explain ongoing issues to be addressed. We have had an ongoing leak in the HWS (Hot Water System) this is disturbing the tenant and should be fixed under warranty. The property manager must organize an appointment between HWS provider and tenant -we provided all details. Countless times we have had to follow this issue up ourselves as landlords, sending emails and making calls which is what the property manager should be doing. If you do not follow up, they don't get back to you. Current property manager is not responsive to emails, we have made complaints about our experiences in writing and they have not been addressed or acknowledged - No response. Whats been happening is that maintenance issues are put through, we assign/approve the action to be taken, the issue is not carried thought/fixed by property manager, then weeks later the Buxton group goes on to send you the same maintenance request in the client portal. Currently, it is very frustrating because this ongoing issue is causing more damage to our property each week and no action has been taken for months. Our experience as land lords with Buxton has not been positive.
