We originally contacted Barry Plant as i knew an agent personally, he was moving to a different shop so introduced Steve to us. Since the first meet my wife & I liked Steve, we both deal with difficult people in our work so are able to gauge people well and felt Steve was an honest man. During our sale Steve was constantly communicating about the sale and interested parties. He gave us great advice of different marketing strategies which we were initially unsure of but agreed, this was obviously the right strategies as it not only got more interest in the property but got a buyer. Throughout the sale Steve was honest with us, he is tenacious and very knowledgeable of the industry. Above all he was friendly and very likeable. I hope i dont need an agent to sell again but if i do, i would certainly use Steve again, but if not in Steves area, will use a Barry Plant agent due to how Steve operates.

Ray was recommended to us by a work colleague, who had used him previously. From our first meeting, we had full confidence in Ray and felt really supported by him through each stage of the selling process. In each of our meetings and phone conversations, we could see how Ray and the Barry Plant team were always working hard for us. Ray was always able to be reached by phone, and kept us updated on potential buyers. He has an excellent knowledge of the local area and walked us through the marketing strategy. We also saw the development of our marketing portfolio as the Barry Plant team were trained in pointing out the key features of our house. We were given some great recommendations of people through Ray, stylists, conveyancer etc. We really did feel supported throughout the entire selling process. I would like to be able to comment on the length and success of this marketing strategy, including open houses, but our house sold on the first day! Quite a feat to achieve, especially given the relatively slow market at the moment. We valued honesty and effort in choosing our estate agents (we reviewed a couple before settling on Ray) and although we sold on day 1, Ray drove across Melbourne in order to finalise the contracts and to massage our deal across the line - getting us a price we were happy with. We are currently selling another house in SA and regret not being able to access Ray to sell this house too. We would recommend Ray, Nunzio and the Barry Plant team as a professional organisation who can be trusted to get a good result for selling. They have excellent industry knowledge and we found them extremely supportive of novice sellers like ourselves. We were also extremely grateful that we could avoid the open home process. Thanks Ray!
