That was my catalyst to act and, 7 weeks later (after a mini-renovation), Helen sold my apartment for more than that figure. Considering I had tenants in place, the second wave of COVID-19 was current and everyone was jittery and indecisive, I consider this an extraordinary result. The reason we chose Matthew Smythe as our Estate Agent, was because he was friendly, professional and clearly conveyed how much he loved our home from the get-go. We felt this was very important, as when you choose someone to sell your home, they need to be able to communicate why they love it, to encourage potential buyers to fall in love with it too. Estate agents can seem pushy or “very salesy”, but Matthew masters his trade naturally, which makes him stand out. He had a positive attitude, is an honest person and consistently worked hard, alongside us, to sell our home. We appreciated being included in decisions, such as the photography and copywriting.
